Private and Free OpenID Server

Orbis Lumen offers free use of its OpenID server to customers.

OpenID allows people to log on to sites across the Internet by simply pointing these sites to your home page instead of having to remember userids and passwords for every site.

Here's how it works:

  1. If the site you're visiting allows you to log in with your OpenID, you simply enter in the URL to you home page or our OpenID server instead of a separate userid and password for that site.
  2. You are then directed to our server to verify your identity with your Orbis Lumen userid and password.
  3. If you authenticate correctly, you are redirected to your original site, logged in and authenticated.

  • You only need to remember your Orbis Lumen userid and password to log in to any site supporting OpenID.
